After months in hard lock down here in Sydney, the restrictions were finally relaxed enough to allow us to gather in an outdoor space with up to five fully vaccinated adults. So after several months of waiting to capture some beautiful photographs of Sophie and Hayes before he got too big, we finally managed to get it done. On a cold, windy, Monday morning down at Cronulla, we explored this surprising and whimsical location not far from the ocean.
If I gave you the opportunity to guess how I became to be friends with Sophie, what would your top guesses be?
I bet you wouldn’t have guessed that Sophie was actually my midwife, TWICE. Once by the luck of chance, and the second time (alongside my other beautiful midwife and friend, Ash) because she wanted to be there for me.
I am so grateful to have met Soph. She will forever be a very precious and special person to me after supporting me through labour and birth not once, but twice.
It’s so wonderful to see her as a Mum herself now, and baby Hayes is just the cutest! I can’t wait to watch our babes grow up together.
